Study finds link between regular meals and an increased risk of metabolic syndrome

According to a recent study by Swedish experts, eating regularly, ie with a certain order and “discipline” is a key point to prevent metabolic syndrome or insulin resistance in adulthood.

According to global statistics, metabolic syndrome affects 20 to 30 percent of the adult population that is apparently healthy.

Recall that this condition is given by a series of symptoms, such as higher sugar and blood lipids, reducing the level of HDL cholesterol, commonly called “good”, a rise in blood pressure and fat accumulated in the abdominal region.
